According to information recently released by the Kingco league, the 4A branch of the conference will see a shuffling of divisional opponents for the 2012 season and beyond in both the Crown and Crest divisions.

Redmond and Eastlake will move from the Crest to the Crown, joining Northshore schools Bothell, Woodinville and Inglemoor.

Garfield, Roosevelt and Ballard will move from Crown to the Crest joining Skyline, Issaquah and Newport.

The new alignments are by district, with the Northshore and Lake Washington schools together in Crown, while the Issaquah and Seattle schools belong to Crest. The exception of Newport (Bellevue School District) was placed in Crest.

The changes in the 4A divisions come along with some shifts in classifications for Kingco schools, as Lake Washington and Sammamish will both drop to 2A and Interlake will move back to 3A beginning with the 2012-13 school year.
