Bear Creek’s Gracie Matthews shot her way to eighth place in the 2B/1B state golf finals on Thursday at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club in Lakewood.

Her scores were 106-95-201 during the two-day competition on the par-72 course.

Bear Creek’s Colin Diamond also participated at state, but didn’t make the cut for round two.
