Crossfire Select O’Melia wins U17 state Founder’s Cup title

The Redmond-based U17 Crossfire Select boys' team O'Melia recently won the 2012 Washington State Founder's Cup, defeating Crossfire Select B94-Johnson 2-0 at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila.

The Redmond-based U17 Crossfire Select boys’ team O’Melia recently won the 2012 Washington State Founder’s Cup, defeating Crossfire Select B94-Johnson 2-0 at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila.

The team gave up only one goal in six Founder’s Cup games, which began in early January with the top 16 U17 teams in the state.

Team members include: Alex Anderson, Michael Barclay, Daniel Brady, Jack Callahan, Will Crosier, Pedro Dutra, Nick Heft, Cullen Jowell, Jacob Kappes, Alex Ma, Ben Miller, Clayton Over, Dan Stone, Matt Stone, Zach Thomas, Larry Wilkins, Max Zambrowsky and Javier Zavala. The team is coached by Barry O’Melia and assisted by Chris Jowell.
