The following players on the Redmond boys’ lacrosse team earned all-conference awards for the 2011 season:

All-Conference Attack: Harrison Stankey

All-Conference LSM: Quinn Aebi

All-Conference Defense: Nick Jackson

All-Conference Goalie: Nico Shewey

In addition, Shewey earned All-State Goalie honors for his performance and will play in an all-star game prior to the Division I and Division II championships. Redmond lacrosse plays in Division II in the Evergreen Conference and finished with a record of 8-5.

Four players on the Overlake girls’ lacrosse team also won all-state honors playing in Division II:

First team, midfield: Kerri Smith

Second team, defense: Jimena Sanchez

Second team, midfield: Zoe Pinczower

Second team, attack: Grace Grubb

The girls’ team recently finished runner-up to Bellevue East in the Division II state championship game, falling 17-16 in overtime.
