Local team wins Everett tournament | Little League

The Redmond-Woodinville Bulldawgs won the 9U bracket of the Heroes of Everett baseball tournament last Sunday, July 24. The team finished with a 4-1 record for the event, which included a come-from-behind 5-4 win over the host team, Klouters, in the championship.

In the sixth inning, the Bulldawgs scored three runs on hits by Colby Fazio, Jensen Lavering, Carson Bruener, Jack Hilbun and Jon Campbell.

On the mound, Duncan Warriner pitched a gem, allowing just one run while striking out 16 batters in two games on Sunday, with Bruener pitching a scoreless bottom of the sixth for the win.

The Bulldawgs team is made up of players from Redmond North Little League.
