Lake Washington High School’s dance team is supporting The Andréa Rizzo Foundation’s nationwide fundraising effort, with Drea’s Dream: Friday Night Lights.

Drea’s Dream takes place Aug. 18 on the Lake Washington High School football field, located at 12033 N.E. 80th St. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dance performances start at 7 p.m.

The event will showcase a wide variety of dance styles throughout the night. There will be food trucks, face painting, balloons and more. A $5 minimum donation will be required for admission, with proceeds benefiting Dance Across America.

“Dance Across America” is one of many fundraising efforts created by The Andréa Rizzo Foundation, a nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to bringing dance therapy to children with cancer and special needs in pediatric hospitals.
