BOYS TENNIS

• Overlake swept Bear Creek, 5-0, in tennis action on Oct. 9.

Josh Zhang (6-3, 7-5) and Andrew Gavrila (6-3, 7-6) won at singles, and Ethan Hayden-Koshav Ummat (6-0, 6-4), Aaron Zhu-David Chen (6-4, 6-3) and Ariel Mizrahi-Johnny Ardissono (6-1, 6-1) were the doubles winners.

BOYS SOCCER

• Gabe Rongve scored a hat trick and Chris Finkelson and Riley Loudenback added goals in Bear Creek’s 5-0 win over Crosspoint Academy on Oct. 10. Grizzly goalkeeper Michael Worley had the shutout.
