LT Cosmos was the league’s most valuable player and he was joined on the first team by fellow Owl Owen Friend.

For Bear Creek, Jordan Block was a first-teamer, Trevor McRae was rookie of the year and Tyler Mendezona was coach of the year.

• Mount Baker beat Overlake, 58-39, on Wednesday in a girls loser-out district game. The Owls displayed a solid effort during the contest, according to coach Dennis Black.

The Owls finished 11-10 overall and tied for third in league with an 11-5 record. The girls reeled off a 10-1 record the second half of the season.

Junior forward Olivia Wilson was an all-league first teamer and averaged 10 points a game, five rebounds a game and two assists a game.

Black was co-coach of the year with Deiondra Peeler of Forest Ridge.

Bear Creek’s Michelle Kahue was a second-teamer.
