For Overlake, Allison Havran and Kerri Smith led the team with three goals apiece. Ceci Votta notched 14 saves in goal for the Owls.

Playing their first game since March 31, the Owls dropped to 6-1-0 on the season.

OWLS GO LOW AGAINST CARDINALS

Playing at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge on Wednesday night, the Owls put together some fine rounds to beat Seattle Academy 166-184.

Reid Fredrickson continued his fine season by firing a four-over-par 39 to medal, followed by Daniel Lee with 41 and Kevin Bush’s 42.

Best score for Seattle Academy was also a 42 by Sam Fisher.

FOREST RIDGE EDGES OWLS

Playing a 1A Emerald City League golf match against the Ravens at the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge, the Owls lost a tight one using a modified Stableford scoring system, 64-59.

With five points being awarded for a birdie, four for a par, three for a bogey, two for a double and one for a triple, Forest Ridge’s Victoria Zinsley shot a solid nine-hold round of 29 to medal and lead her team to victory.

For Overlake, Aubrey Devine paced the Owls with a round of 19, followed by Jessica Weisbly and Meggie Howell with 17.
