The visiting Bear Creek boys’ basketball team proved to be unwelcome guests as the Grizzlies opened up their Sea-Tac 2B League season with a 66-37 thrashing of Christian Faith School on Friday.

Bear Creek guard Josh Firminger scored in double figures for the third straight game as the sophomore scored 12 points. Junior point guard Kyle Blankenbeckler added 10 points.

With the win, the Grizzlies improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in league play. Bear Creek played Summit Tuesday night after the Reporter’s deadline.
