Redmond-based Sammamish Rowing Association had 12 high-school seniors recently sign their national letters of intent to compete in college.

They are:

Grace Sappington, Tesla STEM: Cornell; Lexa Wendl, Skyline: University of Portland; Olivia Feistner, Skyline: Gonzaga; Renee Rockett, Skyline/Running Start: University of Washington; Katelyn Ziegler, Issaquah: Washington State University; Lucy Climer-Kennedy, Lake Washington: WSU; Maddie Scanlan, Redmond: WSU; Grace Epp, Redmond: UW; Emma Conners, Woodinville: WSU; Eleanor Loonam, Bellevue: Northeastern; Anna Bartholet, Liberty: Northeastern; and Athena Baches, Newport: UW.
