Redmond High girls 4×100 relay breaks school record

Redmond High's girls 4x100 relay broke the school record last week against Woodinville with a time of 49.3 seconds. Seniors Carson Potter and Amira Douglas and freshmen Tierra Wilson and Tessa Fujisaki broke the old record of 49.4.

Redmond High’s girls 4×100 relay broke the school record last week against Woodinville with a time of 49.3 seconds. Seniors Carson Potter and Amira Douglas and freshmen Tierra Wilson and Tessa Fujisaki broke the old record of 49.4.

Head coach Denis Villeneuve said on the boys’ side, distance runners Carter Aebi, Zach Kirwan, Ryan Thomson and Devin Wulff are performing well this season. The foursome led the Mustangs to second place at last fall’s 4A state cross-country meet.

The Kingco championships will take place at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and next Friday at Redmond High.
