Redmond High’s boys soccer season ended with a 2-1 loss to Garfield High on Thursday in the 4A Kingco playoffs.
Brenden Narloch scored for the Mustangs 10 minutes in, but Garfield scored twice in the final five minutes to earn the victory.
Redmond finished 9-6-1 overall (6-3-1 in league).
Redmond won a pair of recent matches against Roosevelt (2-1) and Eastlake (2-0).
Against Roosevelt, the Mustangs rallied from a 1-0 deficit with goals from Ryan Pfeifer and Alejandro Castillo with regulation time running out.Pfeifer scored on a 25-yard blast against Eastlake and Pablo Gallo-Arias netted the second goal. Stephen Jinneman had a pair of assists on the night.
