The Redmond Little League Junior All-Stars, made up of 13-year-old and 14-year-old boys from the Redmond West and Redmond North Little Leagues, recently won the Washington District 9 Juniors All-Star Tournament at Newport High in Bellevue.

The championship series was best of three against a challenging team made up of players from the Sammamish and Eastlake Little Leagues. Redmond won two games and lost one.

The Redmond All-Stars will proceed to the Washington State Tournament in Vancouver on July 16-23.
