According to coach Lacy Wilkinson, senior Matt Doran was having a massive season — six goals and two assists — until he sustained an injury in Tuesday’s Mount Si match, and the coach isn’t sure how long he’ll be sidelined.

Another standout is junior Jake Ferry, who has notched four goals and two assists.

“Every team is strong in 4A, so there are no easy ones ahead,” said Wilkinson, noting that Redmond is the only team in 4A Kingco to have played eight games in 17 days. “(It’s a) tough schedule for the team and, aside from the bangs and bruises, the boys are playing some really nice soccer. We’ll be there when the dust settles.”
