Redmond rebounds, notches 5-4 baseball win over Inglemoor in nine innings

Kevin Calderhead slugged a two-out, walk-off single to center field in the bottom of the ninth inning to score Milo Mincin and give Redmond a 5-4 victory over Inglemoor on Monday in an elimination game in the 4A Kingco Tournament.

With the score tied at 4-4 in the top of the ninth inning, Redmond pitcher Blake Steckler notched a strikeout and pitched Inglemoor into a bases-loaded double play to set up Redmond’s thrilling half of the ninth.

Redmond (13-8 overall) will play Bothell at 7 p.m. tonight at Woodinville High.
