Redmond sisters Lan Fen and Ira Kaplan each had several personal records at the Paralympic Trials in Minnesota April 3-5.
Ira, 8, finished fourth in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 4 minutes, 58.91 seconds and seventh in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 2:05.12, both in the S-6 disability classification.
Lan Fen, 15, placed ninth in the 100 free, and her 100 breaststroke on the opening day put her in the top 30 of the world in her disability classification of S-9.
Between the two sisters, 10 of the 12 times on the second of three days were lifetime bests.
