Redmond team to compete at national tennis championships

Redmond-based Marymoor Magic will join tennis teams from around the country next week as they compete for a national title at the 2011 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Junior Team Tennis Advanced U18 National Championships in Surprise, Ariz. from Oct. 27-30.

Redmond-based Marymoor Magic will join tennis teams from around the country next week as they compete for a national title at the 2011 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Junior Team Tennis Advanced U18 National Championships in Surprise, Ariz. from Oct. 27-30.

Team members include Chelsea Bailey, Luat Le, Bayard Blair, Meera Ajit Limaye, Ryan Cheung, James Craig Okubo, Alysha Dhami, Michelle Wang and Hailee Lee Gopinath.

USTA Jr. Team Tennis is a league for youth ages 6-18, and each year the USTA crowns a national champion at the U14 and U18 level in both intermediate and advanced play divisions.
