Around 300-plus participants braved the weather and got their cycles rolling in the StinkySpoke benefit ride in Redmond on Jan. 25. The event is usually held on a day with the “stinkiest” weather of the year. According to chair of the ride committee Karl Bowman, based on their ridership, they are confident that they raised more than $10,000 for the Redmond Rotary Foundation. They plan on distributing those funds equally among their four main beneficiaries: Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Hopelink, Together Center and scholarships for Redmond High School seniors.
