Redmond ended up having seven players on the first or second team and two more honorable mentions. Eric Margeson was a second-team goalkeeper, Justin Munik was a second-team defender and Fellipe Barros was named a second-team midfielder. All are seniors except for Barros, who is a junior.

Redmond ended the regular season tied for Kingco’s best regular season record with an 8-2-0 mark, but lost a tie-breaker and didn’t receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Redmond ended up losing to Bothell in the first round, 2-0, last Saturday.

Senior goalkeeper Henry Busch made the first team from Lake Washington (5-4-1 regular season). Senior midfielder Ian Nova and junior defender Zach Hammond both made the second team with Colin Penitsch and Cameron Veres garnering honorable mention nominations for the Kangs.
