SRA rowers crowned champions at Brentwood Regatta in British Columbia

The Sammamish Rowing Association (SRA) junior rowing team came home victorious from the Brentwood School Regatta in Mill Bay, British Columbia last weekend, bringing home gold and silver medals in 17 finals as well as the team points trophies.

Redmond rowers that won gold medals included junior Sasha Tills of the Overlake School (Varsity Girls 8-plus), junior Isabelle Runge of Overlake and junior Evelyn Somogyi, senior Becca Benoit and senior Milan Vu of Redmond High School (Girls Lightweight 8-plus).

The Brentwood Regatta, with over 1,700 participants from the Pacific Northwest and Canada, is the largest youth rowing event in North America.
