Great news: City government positions are contested | Letter

For the first time in 10 years, all Redmond city government positions on the ballot are contested — that means at least two persons are running for each elective office. And this year there are two council races where there are three candidates requiring a vote in the Aug. 1 primary. This is really great news! This gives me hope for the possibility of new leadership that will make better decisions on our behalf. Join me in voting in the primary for Steve Fields for council position 2.
