Hopelink seeking volunteer drivers

Hopelink in Redmond is looking for volunteer drivers to pick up food donations from grocery stores on weekday mornings and deliver to food banks.

Volunteers must have a larger vehicle, be able to lift at least 25 pounds, be at least 18 years old and have a valid Washington state driver’s license and insurance.

This volunteer position is about two to three hours a week and requires a commitment of three to six months.

Volunteers are required to create a profile and pass a background check here and attend a volunteer orientation.

The position opening is scheduled for early April. Hopelink is located at 16225 NE 87th St. in Redmond.
