Members of Eastside Audubon and a group of Comcast employees and their families — with support from King County Parks — will participate in a Comcast Cares Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Marymoor Park at 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE near Redmond.
The group will meet at the Audubon BirdLoop in the park, adjacent to Parking Lot G, to remove blackberry plants to help ensure the survival of native plants Eastside Audubon has installed to improve habitat for birds and wildlife at Marymoor Park.
More than 200 bird species live in Marymoor Park, where Eastside Audubon has held monthly habitat improvement work parties since 2006.
