Officers investigate fraud report from downtown | Police blotter for May 7

The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.
Tuesday, May 7
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to the report of a shoplift at 9:35 p.m. from a business in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.
Malicious mischief: Redmond police responded to a report at 2:47 p.m. of a malicious mischief to a car in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.
Fraud: At 12:53 p.m., Redmond police responded to a fraud report whereby the victim’s store card was used to make purchases at a store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a report of stolen license plates at 12:38 p.m. from the 15200 block of Bel-Red Road in Overlake.
DUI: A male was arrested at 8:53 a.m. for driving under the influence after a collision at Old Redmond Road and 148th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.
