Walk with Friends 5K cancer-survivor event set for May 19

Team Survivor Northwest will hold its Walk with Friends 5K cancer-survivor event on May 19 at Marymoor Park.

“All proceeds from this event will help Team Survivor Northwest provide guidance and encouragement to every woman cancer survivor so that through her accomplishments she is empowered to lead a fuller, more physically active life,” reads a press release.

Schedule of events:

7:30 a.m. – Day of registration and prize pick-up for everyone

9 a.m. – 5K walk begins

10 a.m. – Survivor Celebration begins
