Redmond High’s Monsaas receives Nokomis Scholarship

Claire Monsaas, a June graduate of Redmond High School, is this year’s recipient of the $1,000 Nokomis Scholarship funded by the Audrey Gorlick Foundation. She will be honored at a luncheon to be held in July.

Monsaas plans to attend Gonzaga University and major in international relations.

This award recognizes high academics, community involvement, extracurricular activities, work experience and future goals. Monsaas is a member of the National Honor Society, mentor of special needs youth, peer coach for autistic children and was chosen for the All-American lacrosse team.
