Redmond’s Mary and Clete Roberts were unsuspecting shoppers at McLendon Hardware in Woodinville recently when former broadcaster-turned-podcaster Marty Riemer surprised Mary as a winner of Puget Sound Energy’s Makeover Takeover.

Mary and Clete got their entire home lighting upgraded to LEDs, worth $750. This upgrade will save the pair energy, money and the environment, because LEDs use 75 percent less energy than traditional light bulbs.
