Redmond-Woodinville Road from Northeast 116th Street to Northeast 109th Street in Redmond closed for about two hours Tuesday morning due to a natural gas leak.
Crews from the Redmond police and fire departments as well as Puget Sound Energy were onsite beginning just after 11:30 a.m. The road has now reopened. The reopening was delayed slightly as a Metro Transit bus needed to be cleared after trying to turn around.
Sara Strong with Redmond fire said they are not sure what caused the leak, but it has since been clamped off.
