Police investigate two automobile thefts | Police blotter for Sept. 4

The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.
Thursday, Sept. 4
Assault: At 10:23 p.m., officers responded to an assault report from the 9200 block of Red-Wood Road.
Vandalism: At 5:13 p.m., police responded to a vandalism report from the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Grand theft auto: Officers responded to two automobile theft reports. The first came at 10:40 a.m. from the 16600 block of Northeast 39th Way. The second report came at 12:04 p.m. from the 17200 block of Northeast 70th Street.
