Junior Asha members participate in Teen Action Fair

Redmond-based Junior Asha (JA) participated in the Teen Action Fair held at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center on April 25 in Seattle.

JA is the youth wing of Asha for Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing about socio-economic change in India through education. At the fair, JA members shared how they function with Asha as a global organization to spread education for the needy. JA members showed visitors how local Seattle teens used their talents — from henna design to robotics — to raise money for schools in India.
