Redmond residents help shape the future of fun

Published 12:02 pm Friday, May 15, 2015

How can Redmond’s trails be better? What type of arts and cultural community events do you like to attend? What do you wish Redmond’s parks had more of? These are just a few of the questions Redmond residents answered in two public meetings the City of Redmond held on May 6 and May 11. The conversation, ideas, presentations and comments were focused on the following categories:

Arts, culture and events

Recreation and active parks

Resource and conservation parks

Trails

A third and last event will be held from 6-8 p.m. on May 21 at Rose Hill Middle School. Attendees will get raffle tickets and a chance to win one of three prize baskets (donated by Redmond restaurant and businesses and valued at about $100 each).
