AAA Driver Improvement Program course set for Aug. 5

The AAA Driver Improvement Program is offering its refresher course on defensive driving skills from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Redmond Senior Center, 8703 160th Ave. N.E.

The course — operated by American Driving Services — gives practical guidance for traffic accident prevention and enhances driver safety and confidence. Successful course completion qualifies drivers 55 years of age and over for automobile insurance premium discounts.

Cost is $18 per person.
