Redmond police officers are investigating an overnight collision that sent a vehicle into a Redmond home. A driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

The collision occurred at 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 21, at the 2900 Block of 173rd Court near Ardmore Park in Bellevue, according to police.

Andrea Wolf-Buck, spokesperson for the Redmond Police Department said the car blew through the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, missed one home and crashed through a fence and into another house. The vehicle then rolled backwards into a ravine. Rolling down into the ravine, the vehicle hit the back bottom floor of another house.

The driver, identified as a 26-year-old man was arrested and charges are pending, according to Wolf-Buck.

Redmond police said no one in the house was injured and the driver sustained minor injuries.
