MainStreet breaks ground on new luxury apartments in Redmond

MainStreet Property Group has broken ground on a new 139-unit apartment complex next to Marymoor Park in Redmond.

The project, known as The Bond, is a five-story, multi-family luxury apartment building that will be completed in late 2018, a press release from the real estate development company said.

The project will also encompass a 1.5-acre urban forest, a large courtyard and a sports complex.

According to the press release, the name is inspired by “(a) representative of the bond that a community creates.”

It will include a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as 19 apartments labeled as affordable, meaning they will be priced between 50 to 80 percent of the area median income.
