Computer equipment and software stolen from Microsoft | Police blotter for April 22-23

The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.

Tuesday, April 23

DUI: At 12:54 a.m., officers arrested a man for driving under the influence at the eastbound ramp of State-Route 520 and Redmond Way downtown.

Monday, April 22

DUI: Redmond police arrested a Redmond man for driving under the influence at Northeast 44th Way and Bel-Red Road in Overlake at 10:29 p.m.

Thefts: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 10:09 a.m. from the 152nd block of Northeast 40th Street in Overlake. Computer equipment and software had been stolen from Microsoft. The second report came at 8:55 p.m. from the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street on Education Hill.

Shoplifting: At 4:37 p.m., Redmond police responded to a shoplifting complaint from the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.

Fraud: At 10:38 a.m., a credit card was used fraudulently in the 15100 block of Northeast 82nd Street in Grass Lawn.

Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to a car prowl at 8:43 a.m. in which a bag was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 7500 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown.

You’ve got no mail: A prescription drug delivery was reported taken from a porch in the 8100 block of 146th Court Northeast in Grass Lawn.
