McDonald’s Book Exchange at 16415 N.E. 83rd St. in Redmond will hold a number of children’s story time and author events this month and in March.

On Feb. 11 and March 10, parents are invited to bring their children for story time at McDonald’s. Books selected by staff will be read aloud and a fun activity will be enjoyed by all. Additionally, each child will have the opportunity to pick out a free book to take home. Both story times will be at 11 a.m.

On March 3 at 3 p.m., Pacific Northwest author William Vaughn will be speaking about his newest book “The Owl Wrangler,” an adventure book with a splash of fantasy with children who learn important life lessons as they solve a number of life-threatening challenges.

On March 9 at 5 p.m., author Bethany Mooradian will be at McDonald’s to discuss how people can find random sources of income and avoid scams. With more than a decade of experience of being everything but an employee, she will give practical tips from her life as “Queen of the Random Job.” Mooradian’s two books, “The Mystery Shopper” and “I Got Scammed So You Don’t Have To” will be available during this event.
