By virtue of going 17-2 in the regular season, which vaulted the Mustangs to be ranked No. 2 team in the Class 4A state baseball poll, Redmond won the regular-season Kingco baseball title and grabbed a first-round bye in the district playoff.
It’s been quite the turnaround for the Lake Washington soccer team this season. With a 3-0 shutout win over Bothell on April 30, the team secured a playoff spot and a winning record — two team goals set before the season.
