May Day a sad day in Seattle

What an embarrassment. It was so shameful. Is there any way to solve this sort of violent crime so not to destroy the freedom of others?

Last weekend we had family and friends visiting from the midwest who enjoyed themselves so much. They did all of the tourist-type things: Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, Pioneer Square (with the underground city tour), etc.

We walked most places and had a nice seafood dinner on the waterfront.

They were so surprised at how safe the city seemed and how friendly the people were. I agreed and was proud to say I live here in the beautiful Northwest.

We showed them the Mariners and Seahawks football stadiums and the remodeling of Husky Stadium — and the accolades went on and on.

Thankfully they are on a cruise to Alaska and were not here for the thuggery by the cowards, dressed in black with faces covered, destroying businesses, parked cars and the spoiling of the peaceful marches.

What an embarrassment. It was so shameful.

I’m so sorry for the victims and the fact that I will have to apologize for a senseless few.

I am sure our friends and relatives will read about this and see photos showing the despicable acts being done. I will try to defend our fine city but I am sure it will leave question marks for them and many others.

Any answers?
