Media virtually ignores Tea Parties

On April 15, I attended just one of hundreds of rallies around the country for lowering taxes, protesting government expansion and runaway spending.

I saw more than a thousand people at Bellevue City Hall with signs, American flags and one woman had a ball and chain attached to her ankle.

The crowd was passionate, and the media virtually ignored these events. I saw a snippet in the middle of my late night news, or buried on the back page of my newspaper.

Where is our free press?

Why is it that when a few people gather to protest Starbucks or Iraq, or demonstrate for environmental or immigration rights issues, the media is everywhere, but when our very right to live as free Americans is at stake, the media is no where to be found? What ever happened to the free press?
