Your July 10 editorial left us scratching our heads as well.

Now even the editor of a local weekly shopper newspaper is weighing in!

While not her greatest fans, we wonder what it is about her that drives the left absolutely nuts. You call her a quitter for bailing out mid-term, but didn’t President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden do the same? And calling her a glamor-queen with questionable mental status is sophomoric name-calling and diminishes your own stature.

We’re beginning to believe there is such a thing as “Palin derangement syndrome.” What else could explain why otherwise clear-headed people despise her so much for no apparent reason ?

If she has indeed committed political suicide as you state, then why the continuing obsession? What is it about her that liberals fear that we should know about ?

Please enlighten us.
