Sprintacular Storytime event coming to Redmond Town Center Borders store

Celebrate spring at the Redmond Town Center Borders store’s Springtacular Storytime, featuring the music of the Laurie Berkner Band.

The free, family-friendly event begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at 16549 NE 74th St.

During “Springtacular,” youngsters ages two through seven will enjoy such activities as storytime featuring both Easter and Passover-themed books, arts and crafts, springtime songs and games and the photo-opportunity-filled finale, the Spring Parade. In addition, adults and kids can enjoy samples of treats from the Seattle’s Best Coffee cafe, including cookies, doughnuts and beverages such as Strawberry CremeKula®, Strawberry FruitKula®, OrangeMango CrèmeKula® or Vanilla CremeKula® (sample options will vary by store).

During the event, parents will have the opportunity to donate a book to a child in need though Borders’ community-based book drive. Each Borders store has partnered with a local non-profit, who will receive the books after the book drive concludes April 6. Customers can also donate Borders’ own Easter-themed “Pickles the Bunny” plush rabbit toy.
