Washington Cathedral to host musical couple with Christmas grooves

At 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, the husband and wife music duo of Scott and Hilary Burnett will search for the perfect Christmas groove at Washington Cathedral, 12300 Woodinville-Redmond Rd. NE.

At 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, the husband and wife music duo of Scott and Hilary Burnett will search for the perfect Christmas groove at Washington Cathedral, 12300 Woodinville-Redmond Rd. NE.

Scott is a worship pastor, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter/arranger. Hilary also lends her vocal talents. The couple’s musical influences include Shawn Colvin, Neil Young, Mavis Staples, Levon Helm, Bob Dylan, The Neville Brothers and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Regular weekend worship services at Washington Cathedral are at 6 p.m. Saturday (a casual family service), 9 a.m. Sunday (a traditional hymn service), 11 a.m. Sunday (a blended service), 12:45 p.m. Sunday (a Spanish/English service) and at 5 p.m. Sunday (with worship explored through various art forms). All ages are welcome and child care is provided for all services.
