Armed robber takes iPhone from victim on Northeast 95th Street

Redmond Police received a call shortly after noon on Sunday, Sept. 20 from a Redmond resident who was robbed by what he believed to be a while male approximately 15-16 years old wearing blue jeans, gray jacket, and a black mask.

At the time, the victim was walking west on Northeast 95th Street. He was confronted by the suspect who displayed a knife and demanded his iPhone. The suspect reportedly took the victim’s iPhone after threatening to stab him with a knife and then the suspect fled north on Avondale, riding an small mountain bike. The suspect is described as being a slim male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. The victim believed the suspect to be white, based on portion of his face exposed by the mask. Several officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate a suspect.
