Redmond Police seek suspects from robbery at Preciado Northwest

The Redmond Police Department is seeking information about two suspects who allegedly duct taped a clerk and robbed a downtown store Sunday evening.

They have obtained pictures from a security camera.

Anyone with information about these suspects should call the Redmond Police Department at (425) 556-2586.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, two Latino male subjects entered Preciado Northwest in the 8000 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. They initially acted like customers and asked questions about merchandise in the store. One suspect then followed the clerk behind the counter and told her it was a robbery. The suspects duct taped the female clerk and took cash from the register and jewelry from display cases, according to Redmond Police.

Soon after, a customer entered the store. The customer was also restrained and taped after one of the suspects brandished a handgun. The two suspects exited the store heading westbound on foot with approximately $450 in cash and an unknown amount of jewelry.

It was the second time in a year Preciado Northwest was robbed. It was robbed at gunpoint in November of 2008.
