DigiPen Day open to the public Aug. 22

DigiPen Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at the school’s Redmond campus at 9931 Willows Road N.E.

This event marks the five-year anniversary of the ribbon-cutting ceremony of DigiPen Institute of Technology’s current facilities, where Mayor John Marchione officially declared Aug. 27, 2010 DigiPen Day in the city of Redmond.

This year, DigiPen will open its doors to the public once again and invite everyone in the community to play, create and explore the worlds of gaming and art.
