Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 10:29 p.m. at a restaurant in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. A man attempted to pay for a pizza, and after his cards were declined, he grabbed the pizza and ran.

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 5:41 p.m. at a golf course in the 2600 block of 181st Avenue Northeast. A male was upset that another male was not getting off the green quick enough and reportedly hit him with a golf club and screamed at him.

Monday, Sept. 19

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 5:17 p.m. at a store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road. A woman reportedly stole a coat.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 4:03 p.m. in the 17200 block of Northeast 85th Place. The owner reported a spare key to their while Honda CRV was inside the vehicle and that may be how it was taken.

Sunday, Sept. 18

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 1:39 p.m. in the 13400 block of Northeast 97th Street. A 2016 Toyota Tundra was reported stolen soon after the owner moved out of the country. The owner reportedly hid the keys in a Tupperware container and a friend was to get the keys and arrange for the vehicle to be shipped. The truck, nor the Tupperware, are anywhere to be found.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 5:32 a.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street. Someone stole a radio out of a van, and the method of entry into the vehicle is unknown.

Saturday, Sept. 17

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 6:04 p.m. at a store in the 11400 block of Avondale Road. Loss-prevention personnel detained a man for not paying for all the items at the self-checkout. Having selected Coffee-Mate, deli beef, spicy chicken thighs and three cookies, the man seemingly only paid a portion of what he owed. The suspect said he was just confused with the self-checkout process and was trespassed from the store.

Pickpocket: Redmond police took a theft report at 12:38 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. A wallet was taken out of a purse while in a shopping cart.

Friday, Sept. 16

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 5:50 p.m. A victim arrived at the police department lobby, reporting that he provided pre-paid debit card codes to someone over the phone to pay a “warrant” fine. He was then asked to take the receipts to the lobby to show that he had “paid” the fine.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 10:22 a.m. in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Someone prowled a vehicle while it was parked at a local park and ride.

Thursday, Sept. 15

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 9:24 p.m. at a store in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The suspect shoplifted items and was detained. Officers learned he had a warrant from another city.

Bike theft: Redmond police took a bike-theft report at 8:47 p.m. in the 17400 block of Northeast 40th Place. Someone cut the bike-cable lock and stole the bike from a condo carport.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Burglary: Redmond police took a burglary report at 12:25 p.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street. Someone broke into a store and stole a phone, chocolates and four bottles of essential oils.
