King 5’s Jeff Renner to speak at Thursday’s Rotary Club of Redmond meeting

On May 19, the Rotary Club of Redmond will welcome Jeff Renner, King TV's chief meteorologist, to its weekly meeting.

On May 19, the Rotary Club of Redmond will welcome Jeff Renner, King TV‘s chief meteorologist, to its weekly meeting.

The lunch meeting will be from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., at the Redmond Marriott Town Center located at 7401 164th Ave. N.E.

The public is welcome to attend and explore participation in the club. The cost for the lunch meeting is $20.

Renner has been rated Seattle’s most accurate weather forecaster by a University of Washington study and has earned the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval. Renner joined KING 5 TV in 1977 as the station’s science reporter. In 1980, he was named weather anchor and science editor.

Upcoming Rotary speakers include State Senator Andy Hill (May 26) and financial planner David Ruff (June 2).
