Man arrested for displaying pistol | Redmond Police blotter

Tuesday, Jan. 5

Weapons offense: A man was arrested in the 7900 block of Leary Way for displaying a pistol in his waistband while making statements about taking care of a problem with a friend who possibly gave him AIDS.

Forgery: A man was arrested for using an identification card that did not belong to him to endorse a check.

Theft: A suspect stole two items of clothing from a store in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Monday, Jan. 4

Guns gone: An owner of a business in the 15400 block of Bel-Red Road performed an inventory audit and discovered three handguns were missing.

Rocked: Redmond Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at a business in the 17100 block of Avondale Way. Four windows were smashed using a rock, but police believe no one entered the building.

Sunday, Jan. 3

Lights out: Someone cut a portion of some Christmas lights at a residence in the 10900 block of 178th Place Northeast.

Car prowls There were two car prowl reports in the 17500 block of Northeast 104th Street within a half-hour time period between 1:30 and 2 p.m.

Too young to drive: A teenager was arrested for driving without a license in the 10400 block of Avondale Road.

Saturday, Jan. 2

Leave me alone: A woman who lives in the 10400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast is receiving unwanted e-mails and text messages from her ex-boyfriend.

Wild dogs: Redmond Police responded to a call of aggressive dogs in the 9100 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. The dogs were aggressive toward neighbors and the responding officer. King County Animal Control responded and handled the situation.

Saturday, Jan. 1

Marijuana: Redmond Police responded to a report of a physical domestic violence incident in the 6800 block of 137th Place Northeast. The responding officers found marijuana in plain view. The investigation is on-going.

Shoplifting: Redmond Police responded to a shoplift incident at a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way, where a suspect stole some alcohol.

Friday, Dec. 31

DUI, drugs: A woman was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 15400 block of Northeast 95th Street. She was booked and released to her mother.

Burglary: Someone entered an unlocked window of a house in the 18200 block of Northeast 100th Circle and stole computers. There is no suspect information at this time.

Impersonating a police officer: Redmond Police investigated a report in the 8800 block of Red-Wood Road of someone making calls, claiming to be a Redmond Police officer.

Theft: Redmond Police arrested an employee from a business in the 6900 block of 176th Avenue Northeast for multiple counts of theft.
