Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 7:09 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. A shoplifter stole a pre-paid phone.

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 5:53 a.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 72nd Way. A prowler broke a window of a vehicle while parked in a garage and stole a wallet from inside.

Monday, July 25

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 12:03 p.m. in the 7300 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. A truck window was smashed while in the parking lot. A wallet and a $20,000 Fluke DTX cable tester and analyzer with case were stolen.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:43 a.m. in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast. A vehicle window was smashed while in the parking lot and unknown items stolen.

Sunday, July 24

DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 7:22 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Officers received a report of an erratic driver, who was pulled over for a DUI.

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 4:21 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Officers responded to the report of a bicycle theft. A woman left her bright yellow/blue mountain bike in the landscaping and went inside for 30 minutes; when she returned, it was gone.

Saturday, July 23

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 5:32 p.m. in the 7400 block of 159th Place Northeast. A business reported that a vehicle they performed maintenance on was removed from their lot by the owner without rendering payment for services provided.

Drug violations, warrant: At 11:30 p.m. at Idylwood Park in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast, Redmond police contacted two females after hours and placed them into custody for investigation of drug violations and a misdemeanor warrant.

Friday, July 22

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 10:33 a.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. Two individuals were trespassed from the library.

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 1:19 a.m. in the 9800 block of Avondale Road. A mother wished for her daughter’s acquaintances to be trespassed from the residence.

Thursday, July 21

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 10:08 p.m. in the 16900 block of Redmond Way. A male was struck in the head with a can of tomatoes by an acquaintance at the park. A passerby called 9-1-1 when the victim, who suffered a laceration on his head, was bleeding and fell into the road. The man who struck him was arrested for assault and aid was rendered to the victim.

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report from a sales center at 11:26 a.m. in the 11800 block of Red-Wood Road. A printer, vase, Keurig, K-cups, pens, snacks and other things were stolen.

Wednesday, July 20

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 8:16 p.m. in the 18300 block of Redmond Way. An unlocked van was broken into and the stereo was removed from the dash.

Robbery: Redmond police took a robbery report at 1:42 p.m. in the 8900 block of 160th Avenue Northeast. Officers received a call from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle to report an 18-year-old male receiving medical assistance after being assaulted after leaving a Redmond apartment complex. He told his family he had just left a friend’s unit around sunrise and was jumped from behind; his keys and phone were taken. After walking home, a neighbor drove him to the hospital. He suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital. Police are still investigating.
